Motivation through
Literature &
Creative Mentoring
Publishing the Jobs and Business Digest magazine to inspire and guide unemployed Londoners, while mentoring those who wish to enter journalism and creative industries.
Motivating Communities through Literature
We have published 3 issues of the Job and Business Digest magazine, distributed in community centres, youth hostels, foyers (Focus E15), job centres, and libraries across East London.
Over 10,000 copies have been distributed in Newham, Waltham Forest, and Hackney. This project has enabled us to mentor and support people who would like to move into journalism or the creative industries, while demonstrating the potential of generating income for our core social objectives.
"We plan to turn the magazine into a social franchise business model that will serve several boroughs in London over a three-year period, creating local employment and diffusing innovation in employment to Londoners."
